
BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — There are a lot of fun, family-friendly events throughout the Treasure Valley every year on Independence Day. Check out the list below to find activities near you:
Boise hosts an incredible fireworks display every year from Ann Morrison Park. Festivities start at 6 p.m., and there will be vendors selling food and drinks. Fireworks will kick off at 10:15, and the park will be closed to vehicles. To learn more, click HERE.
Meridian is also hosting a grand fireworks display, this one from Storey Park. There will be food trucks starting at 4 p.m., a live performance from Billy Blues Band, and fireworks will start at around 10:20. To learn more, click HERE.
Caldwell hosts a slew of Independence Day activities, including a parade, a public run, activities for kids, a car show and a fireworks display. Activities run from 7 a.m. to dusk, when the fireworks will go off at Brothers Park near Caldwell High School. To learn more, click HERE.
Eagle will be having its annual "Fun Days" celebration the weekend after the 4th. The community event will feature a cornhole tournament, a custom car show, live music, a parade, fair food and a fireworks celebration at Eagle Island State Park. Events kick off Friday night.
